The distinctive glass and aluminium structure was designed by award-winning Letterkenny-based MacGabhann Architects. It presents a programme of exhibitions, concerts, film, digital media and education and outreach.
The centre incorporates ground-floor and first-floor art galleries, an auditorium with 140 retractable seats and full cinema facilities, three multi-purpose workshops, an audio-visual residency studio and a dedicated digital media studio. An ongoing programme of local, national and international art exhibitions is presented throughout the year. Admission to exhibitions is free.
