Oisin Leech Announces First Run Of Solo Headline Gigs for 2024 with Steve Gunn and Roisín McGrory.
Oisin Leech has announced his debut solo headline shows for April 2024. This unique run of gigs will take place in Dublin, Letterkenny and Galway. They’ll feature Leech performing alongside a stellar ensemble of artists, including acclaimed musician Steve Gunn, who travels from Brooklyn for the shows. The performances mark Leech’s debut Irish headline shows and have been dubbed “The Maiden Voyage Concert Series”; they will also feature renowned Inishowen fiddler player Róisin McGrory.
Leech recently released his debut solo single ‘October Sun’, which was recorded and produced by Gunn near Malin in Donegal.
The debut stand-alone single, ‘October Sun’, was released by Canadian label Outside Music (The Weather Station, Doug Paisley) and has been garnering widespread radio airplay from the likes of Cerys Matthews, Craig Charles and Guy Garvey at BBC 6 Music, BBC Scotland, John Kelly’s Mystery Train on Lyric FM and was awarded ‘Tune Of The Week’ at RTE Radio 1. The new recording also features Portland artist M Ward and Bob Dylan’s long-time bassist Tony Garnier.
These unique gigs are on sale from Friday, November 24. Early booking is advised.
