Mevagh Art Group is an initiative of Ionad Acmhainne Mhíobhaí. The first Art Group met in 1990. Then they moved to the Mevagh F.R.C in 1997. Since then Richard Druce, Bernie Wilson and Seamus Gallagher have facilitated art classes. Seamus Gallagher has been the tutor for the past seven years. As well as art classes the F.R.C Centre holds creative classes in quilting, upholstery, sewing and crafts. These initiatives are very important for the social and creative life of Ros Goill.

Céim Aniar is an Irish language initiative founded in 2001 to halt the decline and to improve the use of Gaeilge in Ros Goill. This organization has had a very positive influence on the use of Gaeilge in the area. Céim Aniar is located in Mevagh F.R.C.

Ionad Acmhainne agus Teaghlaigh Mhíobhaí.

Thosaigh an Ealaion mar thogra ‘outreach’ sa Teach Bán 1990. D’aistrigh Meitheal Mhíobhaí isteach go hlonad Acmhainne Mhíobhaí sa bhliain 1997. Tá na ranganna ealaine a reáchtáil ansin ó shin. B’é Richard Druss an chéad múinteoir ealane a bhí ann agus ansin bhí Bernie Wilson ó Art Farm. ‘Sé Séamas Ó Gallchoir an teagascóir atá ansin le seacht mbliana.

Céim Aniar.

Tá Céim Aniar lonnaithe in Ionad Acmhainne Mhíobhai ón bhliain 2001. Cuireadh Céim Aniar ar bun chun cosc nó ar a laghad moill a chur le meath na Gaeilge i gceantar Ros Goill. Nil amhras ar bith ná go bhfuil tionchar dearfach ag an eagraíocht seo ar an teanga sa cheantar seo.
