Cian Megannety (Moose Electronics) is a Dublin-based electronic artist, instrument designer and founder of Moose Electronics, a boutique effects pedal company established in 2009. Working under the name Moose, he designs and hand-builds analogue sound devices that explore distortion, texture and the creative possibilities of electronic sound.
Emerging from Ireland’s underground music scene, his practice combines technical expertise with an intuitive approach to sound, creating tools that are both functional and unpredictable. His instruments are used by leading Irish and international artists, including Fontaines D.C. and Gilla Band, and have contributed to shaping contemporary guitar and electronic music aesthetics.
Operating at the intersection of sound art, engineering and performance, Megannety’s work reflects a commitment to craftsmanship, experimentation and artist-led innovation.
