12 November to 17 December – Materials will be provided
This is a six-session course designed for beginners and anyone interested in exploring traditional printmaking techniques. Over the course, participants will learn the fundamentals of intaglio printmaking, from preparing plates and creating images through to inking and printing on a press. Guided by an experienced tutor, you’ll experiment with line, texture and tone while developing your own original prints in a relaxed and supportive studio environment. Participants will also learn ‘kitchen table printmaking’ techniques to allow them to continue making artworks in their own home.
No previous printmaking experience is required.
