Spanning around a century, from WWI to the present day, Mascha Schilinski’s striking, novelistic film traces the impact of intergenerational trauma on four girls—Alma, Erika, Angelika, and Lenka—who each grow up in the same rural German farmhouse.
Across a non-linear timeline, recurring visual motifs surface as dreamlike echoes and premonitions, gradually intertwining. As these fragments come together, the film builds towards a powerful and deeply affecting whole.

We offer concessionary rate to students, over 65s, under 18s, unemployed and registered disabled. Current ID is essential to avail of these concessions. Concessions may not be available for some shows.

We are now using electronic tickets. When you book you will be emailed a link to an electronic ticket. This can be presented on your phone for scanning on arrival at the venue. We strongly advise allowing ample time to find a parking space and to be mindful that traffic can be extremely heavy in Letterkenny particularly on Thursday and Friday evenings and weekends.
Our car park is located to the rear of An Grianán Theatre and has room for approximately 70 cars. It is free of charge.
After 6pm there is no parking fee for using the main street.
