This multi-award-winning film tells the deeply personal stories of three Deaf couples: a long-hidden romance shaped by religious division, a same-sex couple raising both Deaf and hearing children, and a Deaf boxer alongside his hearing partner as they confront a life-changing decision. A Quiet Love is Ireland’s first feature film in Irish Sign Language, created through a collaboration between Deaf and hearing filmmakers and directed by Garry Keane (In the Shadow of Beirut, GAZA).
This event is taking place as part of our SOUND! Festival 2026 and will be followed by an online Q&A with Director Garry Keane.
