Stories shape us. We shape our stories. Our place adds the flavour! Fadó Fadó is back again this year after its success in last year’s festival, where it was screened to a live audience and watched thousands of times online. Artist, animator, and educator John D Ruddy, aka Manny Man, will once again help a group of young people of ethnic minorities (age 12-18) explore and connect with stories from their cultures. Together with their community, they will each create an animated short film, using the voices of these young people to tell their own stories and premiere as part of the festival.
Manny Man is the creation of John D Ruddy, an actor, writer, You Tuber and theatre-maker. He has been creating history videos since 2013 and has since garnered over 243K subscribers and over 30 million views.
