Based on the novel by Roddy Doyle, this colourful and warm-hearted animation centres on Mary, a spirited 11 year old who loves cooking at home with her Nana.
While her two older brothers think of nothing but dinner, football, and going to Bohs matches at Dalymount Park, Mary dreams of being a great chef, encouraged by her gran. When her gran’s health starts to fail, the women of the household travel through the older woman’s past, addressing family history and memories. Voicecast includes Brendan Gleeson, Sharon Horgan, Rosaleen Linehan, Charlene McKenna, and Mia O’Connor as Mary.
