Deoraí (exiles), is a collection of photographs by New York Times photographer Deirdre Brennan, exploring notions of assimilation, class, identity, escape, memory and loss amongst the Irish diaspora in New York. As the Irish no longer need to migrate for economic reasons, Brennan questions why people remain in New York even if they are illegal?
