Almost one thousand pieces of children’s creative art, poetry and stories go on display from June 9th in the Regional Cultural Centre Letterkenny as part of the
“Crafty Kids Gguide to Donegal and its Wild Atlantic Way” project.
The book written by local school children through their stories and artwork tells their story of Donegal and the magical playground they live in every day.
The visitors guide is perfect for the whole family whether visiting Donegal for the first time or locals having an adventure in their own Wild Atlantic Way. The guide includes an introduction to native birds, animals and sea life, Poems and stories in English and Irish language, life and experiences of schoolchildren on the islands off the coast of Donegal and a journey through the key tourist attractions in Donegal including Sliabh League, Mount Errigal and Fanad Lighthouse.
The official launch of the book and exhibition takes place in The Regional Cultural Centre Letterkenny on June 9th at 12 midday and everyone is welcome. The exhibition continues then until Saturday June 11th.

Supported by Failte Ireland the children’s guide, challenges the local and visitor to experience Donegal as the locals know it.
