Spring into Storytime is a national initiative running across all libraries during April and May 2020 and is part of the Right to Read programme. Throughout Spring into Storytime, Donegal Libraries along with special guests will deliver storytelling sessions aimed at families to help reinforce the importance of reading at home. The sessions will feature special guest appearances from local children’s author Malachy Doyle reading some of his most popular works.

Malachy’s online events will go live on Saturday April 11th and 18th and Saturday May 2nd and 9th at 10.30am on the Donegal Library Facebook page.

The Regional Cultural Centre has teamed up with award wining Children’s Book Illustrator Kim Sharkey to deliver a series of art challenges and educational videos based around Malachy’s readings.
